Sanchez makes statement on adverse weather conditions
Madrid, February 5 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that the severe storms and heavy rainfall affecting the country in recent days have negatively impacted many regions.
Sanchez reported that following the developments, he held talks with the presidents of the autonomous governments of Andalusia, Extremadura, and Castile and León.
Prime Minister Sanchez emphasized that coordination and cooperation among all institutions are of great importance in the current process, noting that public safety is the top priority. He stated that rising river and stream levels are being closely monitored and that the course of the situation is being carefully followed.
Sanchez called on citizens to remain cautious and stressed the importance of following the instructions of emergency and rescue services.
