Saar met with Rasmussen in Jerusalem
Jerusalem, September 7 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen regarding the situation in Gaza and the region.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar expressed his pleasure at hosting Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen in Jerusalem.
The security situation in Gaza and the region was discussed during the meeting.
Saar said: “I noted that current efforts to recognize the ‘Palestinian state’ are a major mistake and undermine the chance of achieving peace. Europe faces security and strategic challenges. Europe needs Israel as much as Israel needs Europe.”
