Qatar denies allegations related to the ICC
Doha, April 30 (Hibya) – The State of Qatar’s International Media Office denied certain media allegations concerning the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The statement said that allegations claiming Qatar was involved in inappropriate meetings with ICC officials are “completely baseless.” It was noted that the accusations were spread by Israeli officials “through selective leaks.”
It was also stated that these allegations had previously been refuted and that Qatar is being targeted in discussions related to violations of international law.
Qatar said it would continue to protect its reputation within the framework of international law against such claims.
