Mixed outlook in European stock markets
Istanbul, April 30 (Hibya) - Major indices in Europe closed the day in different directions. While no change was observed in some markets, declines were recorded in the UK and Italian markets.
Major indices traded on European stock exchanges ended the day with a mixed performance. While there was no significant change in some indices across the region, declines were seen in certain markets.
The STOXX 600 index, representing Europe as a whole, remained flat at 602.96 points. Germany’s DAX index closed at 23,954.56 points, while France’s CAC 40 index showed no change at 8,072.13 points.
On the other hand, the UK’s FTSE 100 index fell by 1.16% to 10,213.11 points. In Italy, the FTSE MIB index declined by 0.51% to 47,796.03 points.
