Doha, July 18 (Hibya) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it condemns Iran's attack on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

In a statement, the ministry said the military action constituted a clear violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as well as a blatant breach of the principles of international law.
The statement also stressed the need to protect the region from the consequences of such attacks, to continue pursuing dialogue and diplomacy, and to reduce tensions in a manner that would ensure stability at both the regional and international levels.
