Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel welcomed European Parliament President Roberta Metsola to Lisbon as part of the events marking the 40th anniversary of Portugal's accession to the European Economic Community.
In a statement issued by Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of State, it was noted that Portugal's European journey and its contribution to a stronger European Union were celebrated together.
