In a statement, the ministry strongly condemned the attacks and crimes committed by organized settlers against citizens, their lands, properties, homes, and vehicles.

The statement cited the burning of citizens’ property in Deir Dibwan and Burqin, and the assault by settlers on the Armenian Quarter in Jerusalem, including spitting on the Armenian Monastery and its crosses, as examples.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for effective international measures to compel the Israeli government to immediately halt all unilateral actions, comply with the international will for peace, and implement relevant UN resolutions and precautionary orders.”
