Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin held a phone call with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand.

During the call, the latest political and humanitarian developments in the occupied Palestinian territories were discussed, along with strengthening bilateral relations and international coordination on the peace process.

Minister Shahin expressed gratitude to Canada for its humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people and its contributions to international peace initiatives, noting that these efforts play an important role in improving the humanitarian situation on the ground and expanding opportunities for dialogue.

Shahin stressed that the peace process should not rely solely on diplomatic initiatives, but must be supported by concrete political steps addressing the root causes of the conflict, emphasizing the importance of implementing the two-state solution.

The meeting also addressed reforms within the Palestinian Authority, including election preparations, institutional reforms, work in the judiciary and social protection sectors, and the development of the education system.

The Canadian side reaffirmed its continued support for peace based on the two-state solution and ongoing cooperation with Palestine.

The parties agreed to enhance dialogue and coordination to strengthen regional peace and stability efforts.
