Palestine-Bahrain summit in New York
Jerusalem, April 29 (Hibya) – According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Palestinian Foreign Minister Dr. Varsin Agabekian Shahin met with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The parties discussed the “historic and brotherly relations” between the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasizing the importance of developing cooperation and coordination in various fields. Developments in the Gaza Strip were also addressed; “monitoring the implementation of the peace plan, contributing to reconstruction, and delivering humanitarian aid to civilians” were evaluated.
Palestinian Minister Shahin stated that international efforts must be intensified “to end the aggression, strengthen humanitarian aid, and achieve a just and comprehensive peace in accordance with international law.”
