Pakistan and Malaysia foreign ministers discuss regional developments
Islamabad, July 30 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan discussed regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the situation in Palestine and East Jerusalem.
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato' Seri Mohamad Hasan.
According to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers reviewed regional and international developments and exchanged views on the Palestinian issue, particularly the situation in East Jerusalem.
The upcoming state elections in Malaysia were also discussed during the call. Dar conveyed his best wishes for success to the Malaysian government and people.
Dar also reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to maintaining close cooperation with Malaysia in bilateral relations and on multilateral platforms.
