New statement from Zelensky on prisoner exchange
Kyiv, April 29 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that during a meeting with the Coordination Center for the Treatment of Prisoners of War team, this year’s prisoner exchanges and preparations for new exchanges were discussed.
Zelensky stated that efforts are ongoing to bring back Ukrainians held in Russia and in temporarily occupied territories. In his statement, he said: “Our goal is to free all our people from captivity and return them to their homes.”
The Ukrainian leader added that contacts with international partners are continuing for all groups of prisoners, including journalists, mayors, energy workers, and soldiers.
