Merz to embark on Asia tour focused on trade and security
Berlin, October 27 (Hibya) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that he would visit Singapore, Japan and South Korea to promote trade, secure reliable supplies of raw materials and support employment in Germany.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said in a post on his social media account: "Our prosperity depends on open trade routes. So does our security."
Explaining the objectives of his upcoming visits to Singapore, Japan and South Korea, Merz stated: "I am traveling to these countries for more trade, secure raw material supplies and jobs in Germany."
