Katz: Erdoğan accuses Israel of committing genocide
Jerusalem, April 11 (Hibya) - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz spoke about the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and regional developments.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz criticized Turkey’s stance and reiterated his message regarding tensions between the two countries and defense policies.
Providing his assessment of the process, Katz said: “Turkish President Erdoğan, who did not respond to Iran’s missile launches toward Turkish territory and revealed himself as a ‘paper tiger,’ has resorted to antisemitism and announced that he would initiate show trials against Israel’s political and military leadership in Turkey.”
Drawing attention to the accusations and operational process, Katz stated: “A member of the Muslim Brotherhood who kills Kurds accuses Israel of genocide because it defends itself against Hamas allies.”
Katz concluded his statement by saying: “Israel will continue to defend itself strongly and decisively; it would be better for him to remain silent.”
