Jetten: The Netherlands wants to be at the forefront of the deep-tech revolution
Amsterdam, June 11 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten stated that Hello Tomorrow, Europe’s largest deep-tech event, will now be held in Amsterdam every year.
Delivering the opening speech of the event, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said they are proud that Amsterdam is becoming a hub for deep technology.
Speaking about the power of deep technology to shape the future and the gathering of global experts, Jetten said: “In my opening speech this morning, I emphasized how wonderful it is to host so many experts and technology companies from around the world. This highlights the Netherlands’ growing role in breakthrough innovation.”
Drawing attention to the strategic importance of these technologies for global competitiveness and societal transformation, Jetten stated: “The deep-tech revolution is about many things, but above all it is about tomorrow’s solutions. It concerns how we will learn, work and earn in the future, healthcare and the energy transition, as well as Europe’s competitiveness.”
Jetten added: “And the Netherlands wants to be at the forefront. That is why it is fantastic that Amsterdam is, for a short time, the world’s deep-tech capital. We can be proud of that.”
