Iranian media: US warship struck
Tehran, May 4 (Hibya) - Iran announced that it prevented a US destroyer from entering the Strait of Hormuz.
According to a BBC report, the Iranian army claimed that it had prevented a US Navy destroyer from entering the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian state media, citing the army’s public relations unit, stated: “With the firm and swift warning of the Islamic Republic Navy, the entry of American and Zionist enemy destroyers into the Strait of Hormuz was prevented.”
