Industrial site in Israel’s Negev desert burns after missile attacks
Jerusalem, March 29 (Hibya) - A fire broke out in an industrial zone in Israel’s Negev Desert due to debris falling during the interception of missiles launched from Iran.
According to the BBC and Israeli local media, thick black smoke was seen rising from the Ne'ot Hovav industrial complex south of the city of Beersheba.
According to official data, Israel’s public broadcaster Kan and Channel 12 shared footage showing the extent of the damage at the facility; no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed in a statement following the attack that air defense systems were activated to intercept ballistic missiles launched from Iran.
