Baqaei: Iran has no hostility toward the American people
Tehran, March 29 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baqaei stated that large-scale protests in U.S. history reveal the American people’s demand to put an end to the illegal war their administration is waging against Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baqaei made a statement regarding protests across the United States and the policies pursued by the American administration.
Emphasizing the stance of the American people, Baqaei said: "For years, the American people have shown extraordinary moral courage by consistently opposing their administration’s misguided and warmongering policies."
Drawing attention to violations of international law and Iran’s perspective, Spokesperson Baqaei said: "Iran has no hostility toward the American people. Decisions that blatantly violate international law will ultimately be judged by public opinion and the global conscience."
Referring to the use of resources and military operations, Baqaei said: "No American life or taxpayer money should be sacrificed for a meaningless ‘war of pleasure.’"
