IDF: Suspicious aerial target from Lebanon neutralized
Jerusalem, June 3 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that a suspicious aerial target that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon was intercepted. Warning systems were activated following the incident due to the possibility of falling shrapnel.
The IDF issued a statement regarding the attempted intrusion of a “hostile aerial vehicle” recently detected in the airspace over Manara and Kiryat Shmona.
According to the statement, a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory was detected and neutralized.
The IDF also announced that, following the interception, rocket and missile warning systems were activated due to the possibility of falling shrapnel in the area.
Security forces were reported to be on high alert against any potential risks in the region.
