New York, July 9 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Humanitarian Coordinator Tom Fletcher said the plan to combat the Ebola outbreak is ready, but full access and greater investment in preparedness are needed.
In a statement, United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator Tom Fletcher said they know how to stop the Ebola outbreak and that the necessary plan is already in place.
Fletcher stressed that ensuring humanitarian teams have full access to affected areas and increasing investment in preparedness efforts are critical for implementing the plan.
Warning that any delay would result in loss of life, Fletcher called on the international community to act swiftly to bring the outbreak under control.
