EU Enlargement Commissioner Kos met with Azerbaijani President Aliyev
Munich, February 15 (Hibya) – Marta Kos discussed preparations for the security environment in Europe and the evolution of the European Union (EU) enlargement model with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
EU Enlargement Commissioner Kos emphasized the need to strengthen autonomy in order to enhance the continent’s control in preparation for the new security reality in Europe. She stated that the time required to evolve the EU enlargement model and implement credible reforms in candidate countries must be balanced with determined steps to ensure stability.
Kos also discussed with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that strong connections would contribute to diversifying relations with the Middle East and Asia.
