Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna calls for support for Ukraine
Tallinn, September 21 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna called for increased pressure on Russia and stronger support for Ukraine following Russia’s attacks on Ukraine.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna commented on Russia’s attacks on Ukraine in a post on his social media account on the International Day of Peace.
Tsahkna said Russia had launched a new wave of attacks on the Ukrainian cities of Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Odesa and Kyiv. He said residential buildings, university facilities, a shopping center, railway infrastructure and service facilities had been targeted.
Tsahkna argued that following the attacks, pressure on Russia should be increased and support for Ukraine strengthened.
The Estonian foreign minister said: “Those who choose war over peace must face the consequences.”
Ukrainian authorities also reported on September 21 that residential buildings, a university and a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia had been damaged in Russian attacks.
