President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially welcomed Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Rodriguez, who is visiting Türkiye, in Istanbul.

Following the welcoming ceremony held at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Working Office, Erdogan and Rodriguez proceeded to bilateral and interdelegation talks. It was reported that relations between the two countries and areas of cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat also attended the meeting.
