Cihanshahi says a ground war would be more costly for the enemy
Tehran, March 27 (Hibya) - Iranian Ground Forces Commander Brigadier General Ali Cihanshahi issued a stern warning against a possible U.S. ground operation, stating that such an attempt would turn into a "dangerous and costly" process for the enemy.
According to CCTV, Cihanshahi, who conducted inspections along the country’s borders, emphasized that Iranian soldiers are prepared for all scenarios and that every inch of the country's territory is vigilantly protected.
Iranian military sources reported that more than one million soldiers have been mobilized in preparation for a possible U.S. ground invasion.
It was noted that in recent days, the rate of volunteering among Iranian youth has increased, with record numbers of applications submitted to Basij, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and the regular army (Artesh).
Cihanshahi stated that defense lines remain firm with unwavering determination, enemy movements are monitored in real time, and any infiltration attempt will be neutralized.
