Washington, August 20 (Hibya) - US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the aircraft carrier USS George Washington transited the Arabian Sea as part of a scheduled deployment.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that US sailors serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) worked on the flight deck on August 20 as the ship transited the Arabian Sea.
The George Washington Carrier Strike Group was reported to be operating in the Middle East as part of a scheduled deployment.
The command noted that the group had arrived in the CENTCOM area of operations one day earlier.
