New York, September 23 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney discussed ways to strengthen Canada-Greece relations with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the United Nations.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the United Nations. Carney said Canada and Greece are NATO allies and have maintained a partnership for more than 80 years.
Carney said the meeting addressed strengthening the partnership in defense and security, creating new opportunities in artificial intelligence and developing Canada’s ties with the European Union.
Carney said, “Canada and Greece are NATO allies and have maintained a partnership for more than 80 years. Today at the United Nations, Prime Minister Mitsotakis and I discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Canada and Greece. We are working to reinforce our partnership in defense and security, create new opportunities in artificial intelligence and strengthen Canada’s ties with the European Union.”
