Canadian PM Carney: Our priority is building strength within the country
New York, May 7 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that in the face of urgent trade pressures, their priority is to build strength domestically.
Prime Minister Carney stated that he held a meeting with provincial leaders and emphasized that their priority amid the urgent trade pressures is building internal strength.
He said this requires launching major national development projects, removing internal trade barriers, and creating a single Canadian economy. “To continue this work and keep Canada strong, we decided to meet again on June 2 in Saskatoon,” he said.
