Budrys: We appreciate Germany's unwavering commitment
Vilnius, April 9 (Hibya) - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said that during his meeting with German Bundestag President Julia Klöckner, they discussed strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as security and defense issues.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys made a statement regarding bilateral relations with Germany and defense projects.
Referring to the content of the meeting, Budrys said, "Thank you to German Bundestag President Julia Klöckner for the open and comprehensive discussion. Today, we focused on strengthening Lithuania-Germany relations, EU unity, building resilience in democratic societies, as well as security and defense."
Emphasizing Germany's support for Lithuania's defense, Budrys said, "We deeply appreciate Germany's unwavering commitment to Lithuania's security."
Regarding military cooperation, Budrys stated, "The decision to deploy an armored brigade on our soil is not only a strategic step, but also a strong expression of solidarity and trust between our nations."
