Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif held a phone call with Qatari Emir Al Thani
Islamabad, April 9 (Hibya) - Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Qatar for its support for Pakistan’s peace efforts during his conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made statements regarding his phone call with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the regional developments.
Expressing his satisfaction with the conversation, Sharif said, "This evening, I spoke with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, my dear brother. I am grateful to His Highness for his kind words of support and encouragement for Pakistan’s sincere peace efforts."
Appreciating the Qatari leadership’s stance in regional crises, Sharif said, "I expressed my deep admiration for the wisdom and restraint demonstrated by the Qatari leadership despite the recent hostilities, and I reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with our Qatari brothers and sisters."
Drawing attention to the shared vision between the two countries, Sharif stated, "Together, we remain committed to close cooperation for lasting peace in the region."
