Belgian Foreign Ministry: Belgium continues its support for Lebanon
Brussels, April 8 (Hibya) – The Belgian Foreign Ministry announced that, in response to Lebanon’s request for aid following the conflicts in the Middle East, additional emergency relief supplies have been sent to the region through the emergency mechanism.
In its statement, the ministry emphasized the severity of the humanitarian situation in Lebanon and stressed that support continues to meet the needs of the affected population.
The statement read:
"Lebanon is heavily affected by the conflict in the Middle East and is requesting assistance. Belgium continues to support Lebanon by providing additional emergency relief supplies to the affected population through the emergency mechanism."
