Anand: Canada, the UK and Australia launch a new peace fund
Ottawa, June 11 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced that Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia have launched a new International Peace Fund to support dialogue and confidence-building between Israelis and Palestinians.

Anand stated that Canada will contribute $1.8 million to the fund over three years, adding that the support will be directed toward initiatives that promote dialogue, build trust and strengthen civil society participation.
Anand said, “By investing in those working to bridge divisions, we are helping lay the foundations for a lasting peace in which Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace and security.”
