Anand: 3 new ambassadorial appointments made
Ottawa, August 24 (Hibya) – Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced the appointment of new ambassadors to Poland, Armenia and Ukraine, stating that these assignments will strengthen bilateral relations.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand provided information about the new diplomatic appointments made to missions abroad.
Sharing the scope of the appointments and the names of those assigned, Anand said, “Three new ambassadorial appointments are placing experienced Canadian public servants in important roles abroad. Emmanuelle Lamoureux will represent Canada in Poland, Julie Crowley in Armenia and Tamara Mawhinney in Ukraine.”
Highlighting the experience of the appointed diplomats, Anand said, “Each of them brings a strong record of service and expertise to this role. I look forward to seeing these exceptional women advance Canada’s priorities and strengthen our relations with these countries.”
