Al-Thani met with UN Assistant Secretary-General for Africa, Pobee
New York, May 11 (Hibya) – Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, met with UN Assistant Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs for Africa, Martha Ama Akyaa Pobee.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of Qatar’s Permanent Mission in New York between Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani and Martha Ama Akyaa Pobee.
During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed Qatar’s strong support for UN efforts to promote stability in conflict-affected areas and emphasized the importance of advancing the peace and security agenda at both regional and international levels.
