Al Muraikhi holds phone call with Bolivia’s Foreign Minister Aramayo
Doha, April 12 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi and Bolivia’s Foreign Minister Fernando Aramayo discussed regional developments following the announced ceasefire between the United States (US) and Iran, exchanging views on preventing escalation and ensuring maritime security.
Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Al Muraikhi held a phone call with Bolivia’s Foreign Minister Aramayo.
According to a statement issued in Doha, the latest regional developments following the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, as well as issues of mutual interest, were discussed during the call.
Al Muraikhi welcomed the ceasefire announcement and emphasized the need to urgently support the process to prevent further escalation in the region.
He also highlighted the importance of ensuring maritime security and the free flow of international trade in accordance with international law, noting that this is critical for regional stability and global supply chains.
Bolivia’s Foreign Minister stated that his country stands in solidarity with Qatar in light of the developments.
