Zelensky: We discussed regional security with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
Kyiv, May 5 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during which they discussed the security situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region, mutual defense experiences, and regional threats.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided information on the content of his meeting with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
Referring to the nature of the meeting, Zelensky said, “I had a productive and good meeting with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain. In today’s meeting, we discussed the security situation in the Middle East and the Gulf, as well as key challenges and security opportunities.”
Drawing attention to regional tensions and security issues, President Zelensky stated, “We also discussed Iran’s attacks on Bahrain and other countries, as well as the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.”
Zelensky added, “Our country faces similar terrorist attacks almost every day, and our people have relevant experience in full-scale defense.”
