Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement about the latest situation on the front line and the operational efficiency of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Referring to the April balance of the war, Zelensky said, “We received a report from our army and our Minister of Defense regarding the April results. We achieved strong results in eliminating the occupier. Russia suffers significant personnel losses every month – in April, more than 35 thousand people were killed and seriously injured.”

Speaking about the army’s defense system, Zelensky said, “There is clear evidence for every attack. The Ukrainian Defense Forces ensure the stable protection of our positions. The task is to build on these results.”

Drawing attention to the increase in strike capacity and strategic priorities, Zelensky stated, “The number of medium-range strikes has also increased significantly. Compared to March, the number of attacks at distances over 20 kilometers has doubled, and compared to February, it has quadrupled. And it will continue to grow. This is a priority area.”
