Zelensky: I thank everyone who ensures Ukraine's independence
Kyiv, August 24 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented state awards to military personnel and civilians on the 35th anniversary of the restoration of independence.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked those who have contributed to safeguarding Ukraine's independence and commemorated those who lost their lives while defending the country.
On the 35th anniversary of the restoration of independence, Zelensky presented state awards to military personnel and civilians. He presented the awards of those who had lost their lives to their families, while also awarding military units battle flags and ribbons of the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery”.
Zelensky thanked everyone who has contributed to strengthening Ukraine's independence, saying, “I thank everyone who makes it possible for Ukraine not only to preserve its independence, but to steadily strengthen it.” Zelensky also called for the commemoration of those who lost their lives defending their country and its independence.
