Wong emphasizes strategic partnership with Japan
Canberra, May 4 (Hibya) – Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said they are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, adding that they are honored to host Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi in Canberra.
Highlighting the strong relations between the two countries, Wong emphasized that Japan and Australia, as “Special Strategic Partners,” are working together to support peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
