Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul
Istanbul, June 2 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi announced that the Ukrainian delegation met in Istanbul with representatives of Ukraine’s European partners – Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
According to Tykhyi, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya and Ukrainian delegation member Oleksandr Bevz met with representatives from Germany, Italy, and the UK in Istanbul.
Tykhyi stated that the parties coordinated their positions ahead of the upcoming meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations, adding:
“Members of the Ukrainian delegation reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to peace efforts. The leaders elaborated in detail on agenda items such as a full ceasefire and humanitarian confidence-building measures.”
