UAE Ministry of Defense: Measures taken against 3 ballistic missiles and 8 drones
Abu Dhabi, March 21 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense announced that UAE air defense systems intercepted 3 ballistic missiles and 8 unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to a statement by the UAE Ministry of Defense, UAE air defense systems neutralized 3 ballistic missiles and 8 drones launched from Iran on March 21, 2026.
The statement noted that since the attacks began, UAE air defense systems have taken action against 341 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,748 drones.
The statement also said: “As a result of these attacks, two members of our armed forces were martyred while performing their national duties, and six individuals of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi and Palestinian nationality also lost their lives.”
