UAE air defense systems say they are countering missiles from Iran
Abu Dhabi, April 6 (Hibya) - The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that explosion sounds heard across the country are due to air defense interception operations against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones launched from Iran.
The ministry stated there was an attempted attack on the country's airspace and defense units responded at full capacity.
Air defense systems are actively engaged in countering the threats.
Operations are ongoing.
