Washington, June 4 (Hibya) - United States (US) President Donald Trump criticized the House of Representatives' decision to limit his war powers, describing the move as "unpatriotic."

Drawing attention to the timing and purpose of the vote, Trump said: "Yesterday, in a meaningless vote, the House of Representatives, along with 4 bad Republicans and all Democrats, voted to limit my war powers right in the middle of my final negotiations to end the war with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Who would do something so unpatriotic? They know where the negotiations stand."
Criticizing Democrats and members of his own party who supported the measure, Trump stated: "The Democrats are fueled by Trump Derangement Syndrome. They would rather see our country fail than see me score another one of my many victories. The four Republicans are a completely different story — they are attention seekers! They should be ashamed of themselves."
