Trump: The cost of the ballroom will remain under budget
Washington, May 6 (Hibya) – Former United States (US) President Donald J. Trump made a statement regarding the new ballroom project under construction in the east wing of the White House.
Trump rejected claims of cost increases, stating that the project had been expanded compared to the initial plans. In his statement, Trump said, “As a result of extensive work carried out, the hall has been increased to approximately twice the originally planned size and is being built to higher quality standards.”
Emphasizing that the initially estimated cost of 200 million dollars had increased with the updated project but remained under control, Trump said, “Under the expanded and improved project, the total cost will remain under 400 million dollars.”
Trump stated that the new ballroom would provide sufficient capacity for official events, meetings, and future swearing-in ceremonies, saying, “The project will be completed ahead of schedule and will remain under budget.”
