Trump: Go and get your own oil yourselves
Washington, March 31 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump said that countries facing energy shortages due to restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz should ensure their own security.
According to the BBC, Trump, in a post on the Truth Social platform, addressed countries “like the United Kingdom” that are unable to obtain jet fuel due to restrictions around the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said that these countries should “gather delayed courage, go to the Strait, and simply take the oil.”
Claiming that “Iran has essentially been destroyed” and that “the hard part is over,” the U.S. President addressed countries that refused to participate in the “operation to decapitate Iran,” saying: “You must start learning to fight for yourselves; the U.S. will no longer be there to help you, just as you were not there for us.”
Trump concluded his remarks by saying, “Go and get your own oil yourselves!”
