Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Russia carried out attacks on the National Academy of Sciences in central Kyiv, a business center in Dnipro and other civilian sites across the country.

Sybiha said people were killed and injured in the attacks, stressing that Ukraine needs more air defense systems.

Sybiha said every air defense system provided to Ukraine means lives that can be protected from Russian attacks and thanked EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas for her call.

Sybiha called on all partners to act before winter arrives.
