Sybiha: The whole world wants Russia to finally declare a ceasefire
Kyiv, 22 February (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that they welcome Pope Leo’s call for a ceasefire.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding the Pope’s initiatives aimed at establishing peace.
Sybiha emphasized that they consider the timing of the Pope’s call to be highly valuable, saying, “We are grateful to His Holiness for his compassion and moral leadership. The Pope’s call for a ceasefire is very timely. The whole world wants Russia to finally declare a ceasefire and invest in diplomacy instead of launching new brutal attacks.”
Minister Sybiha concluded his remarks by stating, “We appreciate the Holy See’s solidarity with Ukraine.”
