Saar made assessments regarding a demonstration held in the Canadian city of Montreal and antisemitic incidents in the country.

Saar said, “The antisemitic display staged by the pro-Hamas group Mtl4Palestine in Montreal is horrific; the hanging of puppets representing Jews...”

Drawing attention to antisemitic rhetoric in Canada, Saar stated, “Antisemitic incitement on the streets of Canada is out of control.”

Referring to the proportion of the Jewish population in the country, Saar said, “Although the Jewish population in Canada is only 1 percent, they are the victims of 70 percent of hate crimes.”

Referring to 2025 data, Saar said, “In 2025 alone, there were 6,800 antisemitic incidents, which means an average of 19 incidents per day.”

Calling on the Canadian government, Saar said, “The Canadian government must wake up now.”
