Qatar emphasizes mediation role
Doha, 16 June (Hibya) - Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari said they support Pakistan-led mediation efforts and stressed Qatar’s responsibility in regional security.
Qatar’s Prime Minister’s Advisor and Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari said during the weekly media briefing that Qatar supports Pakistan-led initiatives in mediation processes.
Al Ansari stated that Qatar is part of the mediation team alongside Pakistani officials.
He praised Pakistan’s role in the process, noting that these efforts also provide an important basis for contacts between the United States and Iran.
Al Ansari emphasized that Qatar is aware of its responsibilities regarding regional security and will continue mediation efforts.
