Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar in Kabul
Islamabad, July 17 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar paid a visit to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
Foreign Minister Dar traveled to Kabul to sign the Tripartite Framework Agreement for the Joint Feasibility Study of the Uzbekistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan (UAP) Railway Project.
He is accompanied by the Minister for Railways, the Special Representative for Afghanistan, and the Railway Minister.
During the visit, Minister Dar met with Afghanistan's Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The parties called for intensified efforts to maintain momentum in bilateral relations and to expand cooperation in trade, transit, and security for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
They agreed to remain in cooperation, including realizing transregional connectivity, to fully unleash the potential of regional economic development.
