Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation with Abdisalam Ali.

During the call, the Pakistani side expressed its concerns regarding the safety of the hostages and their prompt release, while the efforts undertaken by the Somali authorities were reviewed. Dar stated, “Ensuring the health and safety of the hostages, securing their earliest possible release, and guaranteeing their safe return home are of utmost importance.”

Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Ali said that his government continues its efforts to secure the hostages' release, stating, “We are continuing our sincere efforts to rescue the hostages as soon as possible.” It was reported that both sides agreed to maintain close coordination until the matter is resolved.

The two sides also expressed satisfaction with the positive developments in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Somalia, while the Somali side voiced appreciation for Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives on regional issues.
