Pakistan expresses support for UN Special Envoy on Combating Islamophobia Moratinos
Islamabad, June 29 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the UN Special Envoy on Combating Islamophobia, Miguel Angel Moratinos, held a meeting with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

According to the statement, Dar praised Moratinos' efforts to combat Islamophobia and reaffirmed Pakistan's full support for the initiative.
During the meeting, the participants noted that the early completion of the UN Action Plan on Combating Islamophobia would provide a strong framework for addressing the issue worldwide.
Pakistani officials also welcomed the initiatives of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the issue.
